Whispers in the Moonlight – Story of Sanya and Arav

0

The night was heavy with the scent of jasmine, the air thick with an unspoken promise. Sanya stood by the open window, the cool breeze kissing her skin as she closed her eyes. She wasn’t alone. She could feel him—Aarav—standing just behind her, close enough that she could sense his warmth but far enough to keep her yearning.

“Aarav…” she whispered, his name a soft sigh on her lips.

He stepped closer, his fingers barely grazing her arm, sending shivers down her spine. “Sanya…” he murmured, his voice low, intimate, like a secret meant only for her.

She turned, and in the dim glow of the moonlight, she saw the hunger in his eyes—an unrelenting pull that mirrored her own. He lifted his hand, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, his touch lingering as his fingertips traced the delicate curve of her jaw.

“You make it impossible to stay away,” he admitted, his voice thick with longing.

Sanya’s breath hitched. She reached up, her fingers brushing against his chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart beneath her touch. “Then don’t,” she whispered. “Stay.”

Aarav closed the remaining distance between them, his lips hovering just above hers. He was waiting—for permission, for surrender, for the moment when hesitation melted into need. And when she tilted her chin, closing her eyes in silent invitation, he finally gave in.

Their lips met, soft at first, like testing the waters of something too deep to comprehend. But the moment she sighed against his mouth, his restraint shattered. His hands slid around her waist, pulling her closer, pressing her against him as the kiss deepened.

Sanya clung to him, lost in the sensation of his touch, the way his fingers traced slow, aching patterns down her back, the way his breath mingled with hers as if they were learning to breathe together. Time ceased to exist.

When he finally pulled away, his forehead resting against hers, he whispered, “Tell me this isn’t a dream.”

Sanya smiled, tracing his lips with her fingertips. “If it is… I never want to wake up.”

Aarav’s arms tightened around her. “Then let’s stay lost in this moment… just you and me, under the moonlight.”

And so they did.
